FSU's Ja'Bril Rawls ranked as top 100 prospect in 2027 NFL Draft
· Yahoo Sports
Ja'Bril Rawls is FSU football's top cornerback and someone they are counting on to have a big season as the Seminoles work to get back on track after a breakout 2025 season.
While he was limited to just seven games due to injury, he recorded 40 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one interception, and one fumble recovery. The Pensacola, Florida product has improved each year in Tallahassee and is seen as a potential early-round draft pick in the coming 2027 NFL Draft.

Mike Renner of CBS Sports is a believer in Rawls, ranking him as the 90th best prospect in the country. That makes him FSU's highest-ranked prospect and the 10th highest-ranked cornerback.
Rawls did not have the start to the season he was envisioning in FSU's Week 0 win over New Mexico State. While he recorded a pass breakup, he was targeted 11 times and allowed six receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown, according to PFF. No other FSU defender was targeted more than seven times or gave up more than 38 yards.
He has plenty of time to put the performance behind him and will get a chance to help FSU pick up a statement win on Monday when they host the No. 19 SMU Mustangs. The game is set to start at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be on ESPN.
