With his 15-yard pass to Damon Ferguson Jr., Mason Heintschel tied the Pitt Panthers’ program record for most touchdown passes in a single game, with seven.
Heintschel’s effort included scoring completions to seven different pass-catchers, the others being Malik Knight, Elijah Lagg, Ja’Kyrian “Boosie” Turner, Cataurus “Blue” Hicks, Censere Lee and Bryce Yates.
Pete Gonzalez threw seven touchdowns at Rutgers on Oct. 25, 1997.
