Garfield 49, LaBrae 0

Collin McGranahan turned three of his five carries into touchdowns and added a 43-yard touchdown pass to Oliver Walker. McGranahan scored three of his four touchdowns in the first half, starting with a 34-yard run that was the lone score of the opening quarter. McGranahan doubled the G-Men lead with a 5-yard rushing score in the second quarter, then found Walker to push the lead to 21-0. Ryder Cain added a 1-yard touchdown run to give Garfield a 28-0 halftime lead.
Nate Baczkowski added a 99-yard kick return touchdown in the third quarter and Jace Vanek added another highlight with his 35-yard touchdown run in the fourth.
The G-Men (4-0, 1-0 MVAC Gray Tier) racked up 421 yards of offense, 321 on the ground, while holding the Vikings (2-2, 0-1) to just 64.

Crestwood 53, Independence 8
The Red Devils recorded their first win of the season, racking up 486 yards on the ground.
Nick Hess (16 carries, 126 yards), Michael Kalista (12 carries, 128 yards) and Christopher Mory (six carries, 168 yards) had two touchdowns apiece for Crestwood (1-3). Xaden Beverly also rushed for a touchdown.
The Red Devils were never more electric than the second quarter when Mory had touchdown runs of 52 and 80 yards and Kalista added a 30-yarder.
Equally impressive, Crestwood held Independence to 151 yards of offense, including just 54 on the ground.
Mogadore 46, Malvern 16
The Wildcats shut out the Hornets out in three of four quarters to beat a leading Region 25 rival for the second consecutive week. Mogadore senior quarterback Maddox Smith had four touchdowns (two passing, two rushing) and four two-point conversions (two passing, two rushing). Kade Thomas added three touchdowns (two receiving, one rushing), including a 41-yard TD pass from Smith for the lone score of the opening quarter.
Smith also accounted for the Wildcats' next three touchdowns on runs of 17 and 45 yards, followed by a 49-yard toss to Thomas to make it 32-16 at the half.
After a second quarter in which the teams combined for 40 points, they added just 14 the rest of the way. Mogadore accounted for all 14 while pitching a second-half shutout.
Quarviyon Siggers-Greco led the Wildcats (3-1) with 12 carries for 103 yards and ran for a 1-yard fourth-quarter touchdown.
Kirtland 50, Rootstown 7
The Hornets bounced back from a tough Week 3 loss to Perry by holding the Rovers (2-2, 0-1) to 34 rushing yards and 1.1 yards per carry. Tommy Caimi had three touchdowns in the first quarter, including a 74-yard punt return and a 46-yard run. Kirtland's Mario Lorber also had a punt-return touchdown, from 76 yards out, to go with two receiving touchdowns. Caimi, Ben Loncar and Zander Perko each had runs of 45-plus yards for the Hornets (3-1, 1-0 CVC Valley).
Blake Mullaly scored the Rovers' lone touchdown on a run from a yard out, and had a couple of big passes — a 54-yard toss to Max McEwuen and a 21-yard pass to Kiel Reuting.
Woodridge 62, Field 7
Falcons freshman quarterback Mason Ford opened the scoring with a 23-yard touchdown pass to Alex Williams.
The Bulldogs shut the Falcons out the rest of the way.
Johnathan Tyree led a strong offensive effort for Woodridge (4-0, 1-0 MAC) with 15 carries for 138 yards and three touchdowns. The Bulldogs were also efficient through the air with Blake Pumper completing 9 of 13 passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns.
Tallmadge 31, Roosevelt 21
The host Blue Devils scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to surge past the Rough Riders.
Quarterback Chase Waller threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Caden Almond in the first quarter and a 15-yard strike to Angelo Gotto in the fourth to help Tallmadge (3-1, 1-0) erase a 21-10 deficit and top Roosevelt (2-2, 0-1). The touchdown pass to Gotto gave the Blue Devils the lead.
Gotto also ran for a 26-yard touchdown in the third quarter and Brenden Conley added a 17-yard touchdown run in the fourth. Kicker Ben Bucur made a 30-yard field goal in the second quarter and went 4-of-4 on extra points. Zay'vion Caldwell added two sacks.
Roosevelt's Kingston Bryant tossed a 90-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Ellington, Mahki Jones ran for a five-yard touchdown and Oliver Walter returned a fumble 35 yards for a touchdown.
Mayfield 40, Aurora 0 (Thurs.)
The Wildcats scored 13 points apiece in the first and second quarters to build a firm lead.
Ryan Eppich had both first-quarter scores for Mayfield on a four-yard rushing touchdown and a 26-yard pass from Dario D'Agostino.
The Wildcats (4-0) held the Greenmen (1-3) to 11 rushing yards on 19 carries.
