Christopher Vizzina injury: Dabo Swinney gives update after Clemson QB leaves game

CLEMSON — Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney said starting quarterback Christopher Vizzina injured his left arm in the Tigers' home opener against Georgia Southern on Sept. 12.
Swinney revealed Vizzina's status during a halftime injury on ACC Network with Clemson ahead 16-7.

Vizzina started the game and played Clemson's first three drives, completing 4 of 7 passes for 19 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Tait Reynolds entered the game at quarterback after Vizzina threw an interception on the Tigers' third drive.
Swinney told the ACC Network during his halftime interview that he planned on putting Vizzina back in, but that he "couldn't feel his left arm" and has some kind of injury.
At halftime, Reynolds has completed 12 of his 17 passes for 160 yards. He's also rushed for 32 yards and lost a fumble on his first drive of the game.
Clemson (0-1) leads Georgia Southern (1-0) 16-7 at halftime.
