In a SOC II rivalry contest that was held at Minford High School, Josh Bailey's group got four rushing touchdowns from four different players — Wyatt Swick, Bryce McLaughlin, Mason Bailey and Colt Donahoe — in a 26-6 victory over the Oak Hill Oaks' football program Friday evening in Minford.
Swick led the Falcons offensively with 138 yards on 11 carries to average 12.5 yards per carry. The sophomore scored a touchdown in the second quarter of play. Bailey added in 84 yards on five carries — 16.8 yards per rush — and a score while Donahoe averaged 30 yards per carry on his two rushes of 60 yards with a touchdown as well.
Jaheim Henderson nabbed 52 yards on three carries for a 17.3-yard-per-carry mark while McLaughlin ran for 35 yards on seven carries and a touchdown, averaging five yards a pop.
Minford ultimately finished the evening with 388 yards of total offense, with 369 yards coming by way of the ground game. Adrian Henderson also caught two passes for 16 yards while Donahoe had a grab for three yards as well.
Defensively, McLaughlin — who holds a NCAA Division II offer from Shawnee State at linebacker — made 16 tackles, including three tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble. Will Malone and Cole Darby each added in five tackles while combining for three tackles for loss defensively.
Along with McLaughlin, Malone and Darby, Jerry Schott, Tytus Greene, Colt Donahoe and Will Malone each had a tackle for loss while Bailey and Donahoe each posted an interception. McLaughlin, Darby and Greene combined for four sacks for Minford to round out the defensive performance for the Falcons.
Minford (2-2, 1-0 SOC II) hosts Northwest (0-4, 0-1 SOC II) on Friday evening.

South Webster 3, Albany Alexander 0
In a nonconference match that was held on Saturday afternoon in South Webster, the South Webster Jeeps' volleyball program put together a straight-set sweep of Albany Alexander, claiming a straight-set victory (25-22, 25-21, 25-18) in South Webster.
Sophomores Ava Claxon and Emma Campbell led the way with monster performances, as Claxon posted 17 kills on a .351 attack percentage and had 15 digs to record a double-double. Campbell added in her own double-double with 14 assists and 10 digs and posted seven aces to boot in the match.
Mia Mantell's 15 assists and Kennedy Hamilton's three solo blocks rounded out the winning cause for the Lady Jeeps.

New Boston Glenwood 1, Ripley 1
In a nonconference soccer matchup that was held on Friday evening at Ripley High School, the New Boston Glenwood Tigers' soccer program notched a 1-1 tie in a match that was held in Brown County.
New Boston Glenwood's salvo came in the 11th minute, when Tyler McQuithy scored on a pass from Xavier Mathes. The Tigers held a 1-0 lead until the 71st minute of the match.
Ashton Nolan had 18 saves in the contest, including a key save with 90 seconds remaining to preserve the tie.
The Tigers (2-4) hosted Valley Tuesday evening and will play Westfall on Thursday evening at New Boston Municipal Stadium.
