Former Panthers WR picks up new gig with ESPN

A former Carolina Panthers receiver has caught on at the worldwide leader.

As noted by league insider Adam Schefter on Wednesday, Adam Thielen will be joining ESPN's NFL Live for the 2026 season. Per Schefter, the ex-wideout will appear on the program every Wednesday.
Thielen spent two of his 12 NFL seasons, in 2023 and 2024, with the Panthers. He was the team's leading pass catcher in both of those campaigns—amassing 151 receptions for 1,629 yards and nine touchdowns over 27 games.
Prior to his stint in Carolina, Thielen—a Detroit Lakes, Minn. native and Minnesota State University alum—played a decade as a member of his hometown Minnesota Vikings. He'd return to Minnesota ahead of the 2025 campaign, as the Panthers fulfilled his trade request late that summer.
He would go on to split that season between the Vikings (11 games) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (five games) before announcing his retirement at the age of 35 years old.
Thielen is set to make his NFL Live debut today at 4 p.m. ET alongside host Molly McGrath, former quarterback Dan Orlovsky and former receiver Andrew Hawkins.
