Jaxson Dart excited to possibly share field with 'unbelievable' Aaron Donald

The Los Angeles Rams are set to take on the New York Giants on Monday night, and in a matchup of two teams trending in different directions, one player could rewrite the story of the game.
Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart and the offense that stunned the country in Week 1 could be set to face a returning Aaron Donald, as the NFL legend is making a push to be ready for game time. With the prospect of being the first passer Donald attempts to hunt down in over two years, Dart spoke about that possibility.

In a video of Dart's Wednesday presser, captured by Giants beat reporter Evan Barnes, the former Ole Miss gunslinger stated how cool it will be to share the field with someone he's watched for a long time.
"I mean, for the longest time that I can remember, he's one of the most dominant players I've seen, or that I've watched," said Dart. "So getting the chance to go there and compete against him, it's gonna be really cool to be on the same field with him. He's a great player, and I've heard that he's kept himself in really good shape. So it's gonna be a great competition."
Dart, who during his childhood watched Donald dominate, was asked what makes Aaron a Hall of Famer.
"I think the numbers speak for itself, but the real impact on the game from just a game plan standpoint, there's countless clips of putting three offensive linemen on him and still being able to make a play, so he's an unbelievable player and has had an unbelievable career," said Dart.
Dart began his collegiate career in 2021, and by that point, Donald had already wrapped up his third Defensive Player of the Year award. The Giants and their young offense will take on the veteran Rams defense as both teams look for a massive early-season victory.
