According to Chiefs Senior Team Reporter Matt McMullen, Delane was ready to return from a shoulder injury he sustained during Kansas City's matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 1, but head coach Andy Reid deliberately sidelined the former LSU Tiger in primetime to give him more time to heal.

Sounds like he's trending in the right direction.
