Davante Adams crowns Trent McDuffie as the best CB in the NFL
In a recent appearance on the ‘Up and Adams Show,’ Adams named Rams teammate Trent McDuffie as his favorite corner in the league.
“Trent McDuffie, he’s my favorite corner in the league. I think he’s the best corner in the league.”
Adams’ assertion can be backed up by McDuffie’s stats through the first two games of the 2026 NFL season.
McDuffie has registered six total tackles (all solo) in the first two games, achieving a 93.0 overall grade on PFF and a 93.2 coverage grade. This would rank McDuffie as the highest-performing CB in the NFL so far this season.

McDuffie has allowed a 0.0 passer rating when targeted through the first two games of the season, completely shutting his opposing matchups down and giving the Rams fewer things to worry about.
McDuffie is a Super Bowl winner and will hope to bring that pedigree to the Rams as they look to secure another title by the end of this season.
