The FSU Seminoles beat the Central Arkansas Bears on Saturday, and while it was not a dominant performance, the Seminoles were in control from the start. They are now 2-2 overall ahead of a crucial four-game stretch that will likely decide the season and Mike Norvell's tenure.

With FSU controlling the game against Central Arkansas, they got some reserves into the game, but not as many as Norvell wanted. Kevin Sperry got to play one series at quarterback, his first action of the season. The defense was able to work in even more players, using a season-high 32 in the 34-7 win.
There was one injury concern when Chris Jones went down and was carried to the medical tent, but he was back on the field for the next series. He is one of several players that FSU can not afford to lose, especially with several other linebackers either done for the season or set to be out for quite some time.
