4 Dodgers Hitters Giving Offense Hope Entering Postseason
· Yahoo Sports
The Los Angeles Dodgers offense enters the postseason with some questions after a rocky last two months of the season.
Luckily, a few hitters are in a great spot heading into October, which inspires hope that the offense can generate enough runs to succeed in their defense + pitching formula.

Here are the four hottest hitters entering the postseason:
Mookie Betts
No one is hitting the ball better at the end of the season than Mookie Betts. From attacking fastballs to making hard contact, Betts looks like his former MVP self.

He ran a 15.2% walk rate and just a 10.5% strikeout rate in September, with a 202 wRC+, and a crazy .337/.438/.674 over 105 plate appearances.
Betts is playing like someone who can carry the offense down the stretch and propel the Dodgers even if players like Freddie Freeman or Shohei Ohtani do not click.
Will Smith
After months on the injured list with neck inflammation, Smith returned and hit .290/.400/.548 in September. His 160 wRC+ was fifth on the team during the last month of the season.

Regular-season results aren’t the be-all and end-all for a clutch player like Smith, who will get 99% of the catcher workload over the postseason, but it is a good sign that Smith is in a very good spot.
Andy Pages
Pages played only six games before the season ended, one of many players who returned in the last month to get some playing time before the playoffs.
He missed a month with a hand fracture after a pitch hit him, and questions lingered about rust or the layoff leading to playoff struggles, but he delivered a strong statement.
In an admittedly small sample, Pages slashed .333/.458/.722 with a 210 wRC+. He hit two home runs and drove in five runs.
It has been rough for Pages over the last two postseasons, but 2026 is a clean slate and a fresh chance to turn the page.
Teoscar Hernandez
Hernandez, along with Smith and Betts, carried the offense through their lowest points in August and September.
With all three players heating up, the Dodgers may not win 100 games, and they may be playing baseball in the Wild Card round right now.

Even over the last two weeks, Hernandez has been producing at the plate, with a 110 wRC+.
He has delivered for the Dodgers over the last two Octobers. Hernandez can be an offensive catalyst when the team needs it most.
