Keidel dropped from Germany squad for Serbia match

Midfielder Felix Keidel is not part of Germany's squad for Thursday night's Nations League match against Serbia but he could still make his debut later in the week.
Keidel was not among the 23 players listed by UEFA in Jürgen Klopp's matchday squad. Coach Klopp had to drop one player from the 24 he still has available after the injury-related absence of defender Nico Schlotterbeck.

Klopp also had to leave one player out of last week's squad in the Netherlands. He dropped Bambasé Conté who won his maiden cap three days later against Greece.
The same could happen to Keidel from promoted Elversberg as Germany play the reverse fixture in Greece in their final match of this international window on Sunday.
Germany drew 1-1 against the Dutch and lost 1-0 at home against Greece in the first matches under Klopp. The other group games in Serbia and at home against the Netherlands are in November.
