During the game, sideline cameras caught Cardinals tight end Trey McBride exchanging words with an official on the field. And while exactly what the referee said to McBride isn't captured on the audio that accompanies the video, the internet immediately went to work in deciphering the official's message: and the consensus is that he appeared to tell the star tight end "f*** you."

The interaction immediately went viral online, circulating across social media. The general reaction from fans was that the official was being inappropriate or unprofessional in cursing at a player, and that the officials need to be held to higher expectations.

The NFL quickly reacted to the incident as well, announcing that they were "reviewing the situation." Meanwhile, JC Tretter, who serves as the Executive Director of the NFL Player's Association, issued a statement calling the behavior by the official "unacceptable" and asking the NFL to hold the official accountable.

McBride seemed satisfied when he realized that TV cameras had caught the exchange, and he probably immediately had the realization that the clip would draw plenty of attention online and exonerate McBride in his fiery interaction with the official. And judging by the initial reaction to the incident, that is exactly what is happening.
