The biggest name to watch as far as the Seattle Seahawks injury report for their huge Week 5 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers is Leonard Williams. Seattle’s star defensive lineman hurt his ankle in last Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers, but seemingly avoided a more serious injury. As far as his availability for this Sunday? Up in the air, and now a little cloudier.

Williams practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday, an encouraging start to the week. He did not practice on Thursday and otherwise didn’t have media availability, which is often a sign that an injured player is ready to go for that weekend. Game designations come out on Friday, and by then we’ll know if Williams is going to be a question mark, a full go, or if he’ll miss a game for the first time since 2024.

One thing to note is the short week for the Seahawks, who play next Thursday night at the Denver Broncos and pretty much don’t have practice for that game. There may be some extra caution as far as injury management in practice, so Williams’ DNP doesn’t automatically mean a potential setback.

Seattle does have some concerns at cornerback, as rookie Julian Neal popped up on the injury report as limited with a hamstring issue. Nehemiah Pritchett, who was notably not in for the final drive against the Chargers, has been limited both days with an ankle injury. Running back George Holani is worth monitoring given he’s been limited with a rib injury from the Washington Commanders game.

On the positive side, safety Ty Okada figures to be ready to play this Sunday after being a full participant for his third consecutive practice. Okada missed the first four games with a hamstring injury.

Here’s the full Thursday practice report for both the 49ers and Seahawks, with wide receiver Mike Evans a notable DNP after he was limited on Wednesday. It also doesn’t look like Marques Sigle will start at safety this weekend.
