The IMC MahaBharat International Trade Expo 2026 was inaugurated on Friday at St. Francis School Ground, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, by Sanjay Shirsat, Minister for Social Justice and Guardian Minister, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Government of Maharashtra, in the presence of Atul Save, Minister for Other Backward Classes Welfare, Dairy Development, Non-Conventional Energy and Divyang Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra and Vilas Sandipan Bhumre, Member of Legislative Assembly, Maharashtra along with other key dignitaries from the city. Organised by the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of Government of Maharashtra, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, the ten-day Expo, being held from October 9 to 18, 2026, has brought together businesses, brands, MSMEs and consumers on a common platform to promote trade, entrepreneurship and market access. The Expo provided enterprises from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Waluj, Shendra, Chikalthana, Bidkin/AURIC and adjoining industrial clusters with opportunities to showcase their products, connect with potential buyers and explore new business avenues, while offering consumers a diverse range of products and shopping experiences across sectors including textiles, lifestyle, electronics, automobiles, food, handicrafts, furniture and home décor.
