‘RIDICULOUS,’ ‘Would Never Expect This From a Former Player’ — Robert Griffin III Calls Out Super Bowl Champion’s ‘OUTRAGEOUS’ Jalen Hurts Accusation
· Yahoo Sports
The Philadelphia Eagles are seeing their season fall apart in real time. After high hopes of a rejuvenated roster and a new offensive coordinator, they have lost three consecutive games, and the locker room has been ravaged by injuries.
The latest addition to that list was a blood clot that is forcing Jalen Hurts to sit out the Week 6 game, at a minimum. However, when NFL Network analyst and former Super Bowl champion Michael Robinson tried to cast doubt on the injury, former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III was incensed at his accusations.

Robert Griffin III Appalled by Accusations Against Jalen Hurts
The Eagles discovered the blood clot on Saturday before their Week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. At the time, Hurts was cleared to play in that game. But a follow-up ultrasound Wednesday night showed the clot had moved.
As a result, Hurts was ruled out Thursday for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. But Robinson, appearing on “NFL Gameday Kickoff” on Thursday, made some accusations about the situation.
“THIS IS RIDICULOUS. The negative narratives around Jalen Hurts have to stop,” Griffin wrote. “Michael Robinson is accusing Jalen Hurts of saying, ‘Well, if everybody’s hurt, I’m hurt, too.’ And that Jalen Hurts is ‘pulling himself out so that this doesn’t look like it’s on me,’ when Jalen Hurts has a BLOOD CLOT THAT SHOWED MOVEMENT AND COULD BE LIFE THREATENING.”

Robinson, a Super Bowl champion and Pro Bowler with the Seattle Seahawks, spent the better part of a decade in the league as a fullback. This week, though, his comments drew a sharp response.
“I’m not saying I know nothing, guys. But if I’m just playing devil’s advocate here, and I’m thinking that way, if I’m Jalen Hurts, or anybody in Jalen Hurts’ camp, I’m saying, ‘Well, if everybody’s hurt, I’m hurt, too,’” Robinson said.
