Well that was a tough loss. I really thought that was a game the Guardians could have won but nothing seemed to go right for them. Sloppy defense plus a sluggish offense for most of the game is a tough combination to try and overcome. It was nice to see Bazzana come alive after a slow start to the postseason. We’re gonna need him to come through if we want to win this series.

Daniel Espino has some of the nastiest stuff in Baseball but he is too unreliable at this point for Vogt to give him the kind of leash that he did in this game. That was my only real issue with Vogt tonight.

One thing that worries me about the rest of this series is the fact that Yandy and Caminero really got going tonight after being mostly quiet the first 3 games. If both of those guys start to get hot it could get scary for the Guardians quick.

Parker Messick will start tomorrow Game 5 at 5:08 pm. It hasn’t been announced yet but Drew Rasmussen will likely start for the Rays. It can’t be overstated how important this game is. The Guardians HAVE to win tomorrow and take back momentum going back to Tampa.
