Rams coach Sean McVay wasn't asked after the game about Adams' status but confirmed the diagnosis Monday, Oct. 19.

Adams finished the game with three catches for 39 yards and already had 30 receptions this year after snagging 60 last year. He caught four touchdown passes in 2026, with 480 yards (80 per game).

Adams, who led the league with 14 touchdown receptions last year, will turn 34 on Christmas Eve. This is his second year with the Rams, a team that's out to a disappointing 2-4 start after loading up for what was expected to be a huge season.

Adams made five Pro Bowls with the Packers during his decorated tenure from 2014 to 2021, then made a sixth after the team traded him to the Las Vegas Raiders before the 2022 season.

Adams played 11 games with the New York Jets in 2024 before joining the Rams last season.
