Arijon Ibrahimović – FC Augsburg

Ibrahimović started for Augsburg on the road against newcomers, Elversberg. Despite an early 3-0 lead for the hosts, Ibrahimović did his best to give Augsburg a chance to score goals. He had three shot attempts — two on goal and one blocked — and created six chances for his teammates to shoot. He left the match in the 74th minute with his team down 3-2. Both teams netted another goal and the match ended in a 4-3 road loss for Augsburg.

Augsburg host Union Berlin on Saturday.

Spain – LaLiga

Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga

Bryan Zaragoza – Espanyol

Zaragoza started for Espanyol as they hosted Atlético Madrid. He had one shot off target and created two chances for his teammates while completing 91% of his passes. He contributed little defensively, recording just one tackle and one recovery. Zaragoza left the still-scoreless match in the 82nd minute before Atlético scored a late winner to take all three points from Espanyol.

Germany – 2. Bundesliga

Felipe Chávez is the only player on loan from the first team to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga.

Felipe Chávez – 1. FC Magdeburg

Chávez started on the bench for Magdeburg away to East German rivals Dynamo Dresden. He came into the match in the 55th minute with his team down 2-0. Despite 35 minutes on the field and 43 touches, he had a quiet game—failing to record a shot, creating just one chance for his teammates, and misplaying only four passes. Magdeburg could not find a goal and fell to their rivals 2-0.

Magdeburg will host Karlsruher SC on Saturday.

FC Bayern II

Germany – 2. Bundesliga

There are two players from the second team on loan to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga: Javier Fernández and Deniz Ofli.

Javier Fernández – 1. FC Nürnberg

Fernández started and played the full 90 minutes for Nürnberg away to Energie Cottbus. He had three shots—one on target, one missed, and one blocked—and created a chance for his teammates. He also contributed defensively with a tackle, a clearance, two interceptions, and two recoveries. Both teams traded goals in the second half, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Nürnberg will host Kaiserslautern on Saturday.

Deniz Ofli – Karlsruher SC

Ofli started on the bench for Karlsruhe at home against SV Darmstadt, coming on in the 66th minute shortly after his team scored to go up 4-0. He recorded one shot on target and added defensive support with one tackle, one interception, and four recoveries. Neither team scored during Ofli’s time on the pitch as KSC coasted to a dominant 4-0 win.

KSC will travel to face Chávez and Magdeburg on Saturday.

Germany – 3. Liga

Richard Meier is the only player on loan to Germany’s 3. Liga.

Richard Meier – SV Meppen

Meier was not in the matchday squad for Meppen’s 1-1 home draw against TSV Havelse.

Meppen will host Würzburger Kickers on Saturday.

Austria – Bundesliga

Magnus Dalpiaz is the only player on loan to Austria’s Bundesliga.

Magnus Dalpiaz – TSV Hartberg

Dalpiaz started and played the full 90 minutes for Hartberg on the road to Rapid Wien. Down 2-0 at halftime, he hoped to get his team going when he scored a goal to make it 2-1. This was his second and final shot of the match — the other off target in the first half. He also helped on defense with three clearances — all with his head — and four recoveries. Unfortunately, his contributions were not enough to earn a result for his team and they fell 3-1 on the road.

Hartberg will host Wolfsberger AC on Saturday.

Spain – LaLiga2

Julien Yanda is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga2.

Julien Yanda – Eldense

Yanda was on the bench for Eldense’s 3-2 win away to Real Valladolid but did not make it into the match.

Eldense will be on the road to Albacete on Friday.

FC Bayern Frauen

Spain – Primera División Femenina

Anna Wellmann is the only player on loan to Spain’s Primera División Femenina.

Anna Wellmann – SD Eibar

Wellmann started for Eibar at home against Deportiva de A Coruna and played the full 90 minutes in goal. She had just one save but conceded three goals. Her teammates were able to pull back two late stoppage time goals but not enough for a result at home. Eibar fell 3-2.

Eibar will host Madrid CFF on Friday.
