Church Street, that is.
Toronto Police are reminding the public that the Church-Wellesley Village BIA will host its annual ‘Halloween on Church’ festival on the weekend, with more than 80,000 people expected throughout the evening on Saturday and into Sunday morning.
The following road closures will be in place from Saturday at 5 p.m. until Sunday at 7 a.m.: Church St., from Gloucester St. to Alexander St., and Wellesley St. East, in the immediate vicinity of Church St.
Cops say additional traffic restrictions may be implemented to facilitate local traffic access, emergency vehicles and pedestrian safety.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area and consider the road closures as significant pedestrian congestion is expected throughout the Church-Wellesley Village area.
