Martin O'Neill Confirms Fantastic Injury Boost for Celtic

Celtic could do with all the help they can get at this moment. The Hoops have been struggling for form since that 5-1 defeat against LASK, which appears to have damaged the team's confidence to a large extent.
Many had hoped that the 7-1 win over Hearts would have restored that confidence. Unfortunately, it has not been the case as Martin O'Neill's side are back to struggling.

Fortunately for them, the Rangers have dropped points as well, which has allowed Celtic to maintain a four-point lead in the league. But is that even sustainable if the performances and results do not improve immediately?
A few of Celtic's key players are out injured at the moment. The good news is that it looks like one of them is seemingly closing in on a return.
Celtic player closing in on return from injuryYang Hyun-jun is most likely going to be a starter for Celtic when he is back to full fitness. It has been a while since we saw him in action, having been away with South Korea, winning gold at the Asian Games.
He did end up getting injured away on international duty though and has not been able to return to fitness since then.
Martin O'Neill said while talking about the fitness situation of Yang: “He starts back with us on Monday, we’ll see how he is before the beginning of the international break.”
That means that Yang is not expected to feature before the international break. But hopefully, he will be fit in time after it ends.
Celtic Boss Makes Brutally Honest Jota AdmissionMartin O'Neill has made a brutally honest admission about Jota, with the Celtic winger recently returning after a 18-month absence through injury.Celtic are lacking quality on the flanks right nowCeltic most certainly needs some quality options on the flanks right now. It has become quite clear that Sebastian Tounekti is not the answer to the club's problems.
On the other hand, Jota is only returning from an 18-month absence through injury. It could be a while before he is anywhere near his best, if he is even capable of reaching those levels anymore.
That has meant that O'Neill has had to rely on Callum Osmand, an inexperienced striker, on the left flank in recent times. That is how thin options have been for Celtic.
Yang could be the solution to the club's problems. Over the past year or so, he has been Celtic's best winger, and by some distance.
Obviously, he is recovering from an injury of his own. So, the fans will need to give him some time to rediscover his rhythm.
As for the club, they need to ensure that Yang is not rushed back into the team, just because things have been shaky in recent times.
