The intense rivalry between the two sides is already a big reason why their meetings will always matter. But the upcoming Week 8 Steelers-Browns game at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh will have lots of extra spice in it.

For one, the winner of that game will find itself leading the AFC North after eight weeks of football.

Then there’s all the trash talk, which, along with the importance of the contest, Pittsburgh star edge rusher TJ Watt addressed on Friday.

“We know how weighty this game is,” the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award winner said, via Ashley Wenskoski of Pittsburgh Sports Tonight.

“I don’t hear any of that stuff,” Watt added about the smack talk coming from the Browns.

The Steelers and the Browns first met this season in a Week 4 showdown at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland. Pittsburgh entered that game coming off a close home win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3, but failed to sustain its momentum, as the Browns came away with a 27-24 win.

That game can also be best remembered for Browns kicker Andre Szmyt’s career-long 56-yard field goal that sealed the win for Cleveland.

Aaron Rodgers went 22/30 for 299 passing yards and three touchdowns and two interceptions versus Cleveland, while also taking five sacks for a loss of 30 yards. He is looking for better protection in the pocket this time around, as the Steelers look to score their sixth win of the campaign.

Watt had four total tackles with a sack, a pass defended and two quarterback hits in that game against the Browns.
