BC Partners has withdrawn its $300 million offer to fund LIV Golf 2.0, according to a report Wednesday from the Financial Times.

The Times reported that not enough players committed to compete in the next iteration of the league. At least 15 players expressed an interest in playing the LIV circuit in 2027 but BC Partners was seeking between 30 to 40 commitments.

LIV Golf filed for bankruptcy in September after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund announced earlier in the year that it would pull its significant funding of the league.

After Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed and Eugenio Chacarra all departed LIV within the past year, the league has since lost several more stars who have decided not to continue with LIV 2.0, including Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
