ESPN proposes 'luxury' and 'bargain' trade targets for Jaguars

ESPN's Bill Barnwell recently sized up each contending team across the NFL and proposed what they should do ahead of the NFL trade deadline.
For the Jacksonville Jaguars, Barnwell presented two potential trade targets for GM James Gladstone. The "luxury" trade candidate, as Barnwell put it, is Philadelphia Eagles' defensive tackle Moro Ojomo.

"Ojomo could take the role as the lead interior disruptor for Jacksonville in the long term. He also makes just $2 million over the rest of the season," Barnwell wrote.
Ojomo was a seventh-round pick by the Eagles in 2023 and put together an impressive 2025 season, which included generating 54 QB pressures. He has the versatility to line up in multiple gaps along the defensive front.
Barnwell's other option for the Jaguars, or a "bargain" option, as he said, is Washington Commanders offensive lineman Andrew Wylie. As Barnwell notes, Wylie can play both guard and tackle, and the 32-year-old has 17 playoff starts under his belt.
"Given that Walker Little and Cole Van Lanen have played left tackle for the Jags over the past 12 months, Wylie could be a backup at guard and a potential replacement at right tackle if one of those two goes down," wrote Barnwell.
With the trade deadline approaching, we recently took a look at the Jaguars' salary cap situation and their 2027 draft capital, which will be important factors in determining if a deal can be made.
