Report: Georgia Bulldog tight end played season on fractured foot

· Yahoo Sports

Georgia Bulldogs tight end Oscar Delp was expected to wow at the 2026 NFL Combine, but he won't be participating in the drills. According to reports, an NFL league source confirmed that Oscar Delp can't go through combine drills due to an undetected hairline fracture in his foot.

Klein goes on to say that Delp played the entire season with the hairline fracture in his foot, and it was found by accident on a routine X-ray. As a result, he won't be able to compete in the drills, even though he still wanted to. He will be a full go for Georgia's pro day on March 18th.

Delp didn't miss a single game due to injury in the 2025 season. He played in all of Georgia's 14 games, racking up 19 receptions for 245 yards and a touchdown. Even with somewhat low numbers, he still shows incredible work on tape, and that was the main driver of excitement for Georgia Bulldogs fans.

There will be several Georgia Bulldogs competing in the combine. Defensive tackle Christen Miller and linebacker CJ Allen skipped on the drills, but defensive back Daylen Everette will test on Friday, Feb. 27. Wide receivers Zachariah Branch, Dillon Bell and Colbie Young will participate in the festivities on Saturday, Feb. 28, and offensive tackle Monroe Freeling will participate on Sunday, March 1. There's a lot of hope surrounding Freeling's draft stock in this combine.
