Packers Discussion: Which player needs to improve the most in 2026?
· Yahoo Sports
There’s not that much debate about who will be in the preferred starting lineup for the Green Bay Packers in 2026. If everyone is healthy, the offense seems pretty set. On defense, the questions revolve around who will be the third defensive lineman in 3-4 looks (either Karl Brooks, rookie Chris McClellan or others) or the cornerback opposite of Keisean Nixon (Carrington Valentine, Benjamin St-Juste or rookie Brandon Cisse).

Since a lot of the debate has been settled about the Packers’ starting lineup, here’s the question I have for you today: Which player needs to step up the most in 2026?
I could see there being several answers to this question, honestly.
Up front, I hope that center Sean Rhyan and right guard Anthony Belton continue to develop and build on their 2025 ground-game performance — hopefully improving as pass protectors along the way. Defensively, Lukas Van Ness is set up for a much bigger role in 2026, as Rashan Gary and Kingsley Enagbare are no longer in the picture. On top of that, LVN will be asked to be the team’s primary edge defender if Micah Parsons does indeed end up missing the first month of the season.
There could be more, but those are the two answers at the front of my mind.
