Saturday afternoon is the end of the Florida Gators third official visit weekend, where they are hosting five-star wide receiver Easton Royal and five-star defensive lineman Jalen Brewster. The big news isn’t with either of those players, but rather four-star offensive tackle Kennedee Jackson. He flipped his commitment from the Gators to the Georgia Bulldogs.

It’s a brutal one for the Gators, but not all hope is lost with his recruitment.
Kennedee Jackson flips from Florida Gators to Georgia Bulldogs
Jackson committed to the Gators on June 2nd after visiting Gainesville. Things were looking great for offensive line coach Phil Trautwein. Led by five-star Maxwell Hiller, the class had included four players in the top-10 of their respective positions. With Jackson now going to Georgia, that is now down to three.
Things changed for Jackson after he visited Georgia last weekend, and it ended in a flip. Because of how quick the flip was, you can’t discount the idea of Jackson potentially re-committing to the Gators over the next six months. It will be worth keeping an eye on.
Sumrall’s class of 2027 now stands at 21 commitments.
