Steelers rookie stock report after minicamps
· Yahoo Sports
The Pittsburgh Steelers took some chances in the 2026 NFL Draft and rolled the dice on multiple prospects with a clear vision of the future as opposed to the 2026 season. We've gotten a ton of info on the rookie class and so we are offering up a little post-minicamp stock report on all the rookies.
OT Max Iheanachor - Stock steady

It sounds like it is a mix of veteran Dylan Cook holding down the No. 1 spot and Iheanachor making steady progress. Cook's presence gives Iheanachor something of a cushion for now.
WR Germie Bernard - Stock UP
Germie Bernard has wasted no time opening eyes with his high football IQ, work ethic and all-around skill set.
QB Drew Allar - Stock DOWN
Pittsburgh is starting from scratch on Allar and this is putting him behind Will Howard. In addition, Allar still hasn't signed his rookie contract.
OL Gennings Dunker - Stock steady
Like Iheanachor, Dunker is coming along at a steady pace in addition to making a position change while veteran Spencer Anderson holds down the starting spot.
CB Daylen Everett - Stock UP
The worries about Everett's consistency and mental toughness don't seem to be an issue at all at minicamp and he's been maybe the most impressive rookie from this class.
WR Kaden Wetjen - Stock DOWN
If Wetjen is going to make the roster, he has to be more than a return man and so far, reports are he's not impressing as a receiver.
FB Riley Nowakowski - Stock steady
No news is good news for Nowakowski as the Steelers clearly want a fullback on the roster and he's the only one.
DT Gabriel Rubio - Stock DOWN
Rubio has been very quiet and that's not great for a guy who is going to be fighting for his life to make the roster.
S Robert Spears-Jennings - Stock UP
Spears-Jennings doesn't care where he was drafted, he's gunning for a roster spot and will compete with second-year safety Sebastian Castro for that final spot on the depth chart.
RB Eli Heidenreich - Stock UP
Heidenriech has opened eyes doing the same things he did at Navy, showcasing his agility and athleticism as well as getting a look in the return game.
