“They hate their Savior so much”, “Just pure jealousy” – WNBA Fans Detonate As Caitlin Clark Lands 11th in 2026 All-Star Starter Voting By Players
· Yahoo Sports
The WNBA announced the 2026 All-Star Game starters on Thursday, and there was a shocking discovery. No, it wasn’t Caitlin Clark being named a starter for the third consecutive year, it was the fact that she finished a lowly 11th in the guard rankings on the players’ ballot.

In a post on X, the league shared the complete voting results from media members, fans, and players across the globe. Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever finished second in fan voting and third in media ranking, but plummeted to 11th on the players’ ballot, leaving her with a weighted score of 4.5.
Fever fans are not happy with Clark’s 11th-place ranking and had a lot to say on X to air out their frustrations.
Here is a look at some of the reactions:
Clark has always had a difficult time earning praise from her peers since entering the league, largely due to how polarizing her fan base is. Despite battling injuries and being a player of her caliber- where every single move she makes is turned into a massive controversy – Clark is still averaging an impressive 21.2 points, 8.2 assists, and 4.0 rebounds per game.
This is not the first time Caitlin Clark has been ignored by her peers in All-Star voting
This is not the first time Caitlin Clark was completely overlooked by her fellow peers in the league. Last season, she was ranked as the 9th-best guard in the All-Star voting, a decision that raised plenty of eyebrows.
To drop her to 11th now, after a year in which she completely demonstrated her elite capabilities, is to ignore the nuance and dynamism that she brings to the court.
In fact, the Fever guard ranks fourth in the league in points per game and sits second in assists. What makes all of that even more incredible is that Clark isn’t even at her absolute best. Contributing at the level she has has pushed Indiana to an 11-8 record. She is almost singularly responsible for their offensive output.
While Clark continues to be a darling of both the media and the fans, that has consistently not been the case when it comes to the players.
