5 Fever candidates to replace Justine Pissott on a developmental deal
· Yahoo Sports
The Indiana Fever have a developmental roster spot open right now after losing forward Justine Pissott to the Las Vegas Aces.

With former South Carolina guard Bree Hall occupying one of the spots, who could take the other and join Caitlin Clark and company at Gainbridge Fieldhouse?
Did DeWanna Bonner really leave the Fever in 2025 over Caitlin Clark?
Three rookie forwards and two rookie guards make our list, including one player who has already played with Indiana in the preseason. While the Fever might not be in a hurry to fill one of these spots, we imagine they will in due time.
Let's run through who these players are and why they would make sense to join the Fever in a developmental capacity.
G Jessica Timmons
The Fever could easily bring back their 2026 third rounder, who would have good familiarity with the system. Sure, two developmental guards might seem like a lot, but Timmons has the added bonus of playing for the Fever this year, at least in preseason reps. She's probably the "favorite," if such a person exists for the developmental spot.
G Ta'Niya Latson
The Fever LOVE former South Carolina guards, as the team boasts Raven Johnson, Ty Harris and Hall on the roster. Could they add Latson to the mix? That would not necessarily help the lack of a developmental forward, and Latson could always return to the Los Angeles Sparks on a developmental deal. However, we wouldn't be shocked if Indiana made a play for her, given the team's strong ties with adding former Gamecocks to the roster.
F Zee Spearman
The former Dallas Wings third-round selection averaged 10.2 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Lady Vols last season and could be an ideal developmental forward for Indiana. Her ability to shoot from beyond the arc and snag rebounds could both come in handy; she's an intriguing "stretch four" candidate for the future if Indy is interested.
F Charlise Dunn
The former Richmond standout, like Spearman, can play the boards (7.4 rebounds per game) with the best of them and stood out as the impact scorer for the Spiders last season (15.3 points per game). She's playing in Australia right now, but it's not hard to imagine her being on the Fever's radar as a possible Pissott replacement.
F Amelia Hassett
The former Kentucky standout set a school record for 3-pointers made in a single season, breaking former Wildcat legend Rhyne Howard. To get that kind of production from beyond the arc in the SEC is pretty impressive; Hassett was a third-round pick by the Sparks who didn't make the roster, but she could be a really nice get for the Fever.
