No off-season for each team’s fanbase. July has the beginning of each club’s training camp, but that doesn’t happen until the final week. So, the league puts out its 2026 NFL Top 100 list.

The list is labeled “2026,” but is really a review of last season instead of a preview for this year. The only voters are players in the league, which makes it pretty special because these are the guys they have to go up against each week. Once a guy smacks the side of your helmet, you remember him come voting time. Usually, it’s not the great women in our lives we recall, but the ones who were mean, hateful, and full of drama.
The list comes out in sections each week. Ten players are revealed, and so far, it’s down to #77 to #80. All three reveals are shared with a link below.
In the latest segment, Arizona Cardinals EDGE rusher Josh Sweat was named #78.
Sweat isn’t new to the list, as he has been included for the past two years. But with his success with the Cardinals last year, with 12 sacks and 17 QB hits, he has been elevated 17 spots. Which means he is getting noticed more.
Sweat is situated between TE Travis Kelce and QB Baker Mayfield. Kelce has declined 42 spots while Mayfield has dropped 27. So far, Sweat is the only Cardinals player on the list.
Each Monday, more players are revealed.
With the 2025 Top 100 list, safety Budda Baker was the highest Cardinal at #34, followed by tight end Trey McBride at #65 and Sweat at #95.
