The tipoff time and network for the game were announced Wednesday.

The matchup, which was first reported in April, also will be streamed on Paramount+.

It'll be part of huge Thanksgiving sports doubleheader in Detroit, with the Detroit Lions playing host to the Chicago Bears at Ford Field. Kickoff is at 1 p.m., with the game also broadcast on CBS.

“I love any time we get a chance to play in Detroit and at Little Caesars Arena,” Tom Izzo, Michigan State men's basketball coach, said in a statement. “When you have a chance to play a game that will be a memory-maker for your players and your program, you take advantage of that opportunity. This is the second straight year we’ll play a very talented Arkansas team, and it gives me another chance to match up with one of my great friends in college basketball, John Calipari. These are the types of games that will help both teams down the road. To play a team like Arkansas in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day, right after the Lions, will make for a great day for sports fans in our state and for college basketball.”

Tickets for the MSU-Arkansas game will go on sale Oct. 1, with a pre-sale available on Sept. 30. Fans can register for the ticket presale at DetroitHoops.com/tickets.

There also will be "official" travel packages available, set to go on sale in August. Those packages will include game tickets and hotel accommodations in downtown Detroit. Details also are at DetroitHoops.com/travel.

This will be the fourth all-time meeting between the programs, with Michigan State winning the previous three meetings, including a 69-66 victory last November in East Lansing. Michigan State is coming off a 27-8 season in which the Spartans reached the Sweet 16.

Arkansas is coming off a 28-9 season in which it also reached the Sweet 16.
