Career with the Steelers
Harmon, who was selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, dealt with a knee injury early in his rookie season. Despite missing five games, Harmon quickly made an impact and ultimately earned the Joe Greene Great Performance Award for his strong debut season.
Appearing in 12 games, including eight starts, Harmon finished the season with 27 combined tackles, five quarterback hits and three sacks. But there's reason to believe Harmon is in for even bigger things in 2026.
What's next in 2026?
Harmon is playing alongside one of the greatest defensive rosters Pittsburgh has had in a long while. Couple that with a competent, defensive-minded coach in DC Patrick Graham and another year of NFL experience under his belt, and Harmon should take a massive Year 2 leap. At only 22 years old, Harmon is aiming to become a cornerstone of Pittsburgh's defense for many seasons to come — and that starts in 2026.
