The Ferran Torres saga at Barcelona is getting more and more complicated with every passing day, with the Spaniard’s future at the club far from certain.
French giants PSG have expressed their interest in signing the talented Spanish forward, with Luis Enrique keen to reunite with him in Paris.
When Ferran was asked about his future yesterday, the 26-year-old left the situation ambiguous and kept the door open.
Ferran also admitted that interest from Paris Saint-Germain was flattering while making it clear that Barcelona will need to demonstrate how much they value him if they want him to sign a new contract.
Barca unhappy with Ferran
Now, according to SPORT, Barcelona are unhappy with the Spaniard after he publicly addressed his contract situation.
The club are still unwilling to alter their renewal strategy despite Ferran putting the pressure on Barça to come forward and show their desire to keep him.

The Blaugrana wanted to renew the 26-year-old at all costs but wanted to do it in September once the transfer window closes.
However, it looks like Ferran has no intention of being patient.
Ferran wants Barcelona to show that they want him
The comments from the player underline the strong position Ferran currently occupies.
With one year remaining on his contract, he is under no immediate pressure to extend his stay, while Barcelona risk seeing him leave for free next summer if an agreement cannot be reached.
Ferran also has one of the world’s best clubs after him this summer, further giving him leverage to make demands during the contract negotiations.
He is also coming off arguably the best moment of his career and his stocks have skyrocketed since the goal in the World Cup final.
The waiting game

Barcelona have consistently maintained that Ferran is not for sale and still view him as an important part of Hansi Flick’s plans.
Ferran’s words have made it clear that he expects the club to come forward and begin contract talks, and he has left the door open to a renewal.
If Barça show genuine commitment to keeping him beyond 2027, Ferran could agree to stay at the Catalan club and say no to PSG.
For now, the ball appears to be in Barcelona’s court. If they are unhappy with his actions, they could let him leave and risk not having a natural striker going into the new season.
The ideal scenario is the two parties reaching a compromise and talking this out but it remains to be seen if sense prevails over the egos.
