Fans call for Caitlin Clark to be MVP
It has now been shared by Real App on X/Twitter that ‘Caitlin Clark is on pace to be the first player in WNBA history to score/assist on 40+ PPG for a season’.
Clark is averaging 22.1 points per game and 8.4 assists per game. So, taking the point values of those assists into account, she is said to be generating 40+ points on average in every game for her team.
Many fans have since reacted to her points generated per game total and suggested this means Caitlin should be the MVP of the season.
One wrote: “She’s putting up numbers never seen in the WNBA and her team is winning! She should be MVP!”
Another tweeted: “THAT’S WHAT A MOST VALUABLE PLAYER IS BTW.”
“If the goal in basketball is to score more points than the other team (which it is), that literally by definition means Caitlin Clark is the most valuable player,” added a third.
A fourth exclaimed: “MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!” while another stated: “She’s the most valuable player. Idc what anyone says anymore.”
