Roster cutdown season is officially over. The NFL's roster reduction deadline at 5 p.m. CT on Sunday, Aug. 30 has passed, and we now have our first look at the initial 53-man roster of the 2026 New Orleans Saints.
The list won't remain untouched before Week 1. The Saints, and any other team for that matter, can still add players through free agency or the waiver wire — and every addition would require a corresponding move elsewhere on the roster.

New Orleans will now turn its attention toward building out its practice squad and evaluating the players released around the league. However, as things stand following the deadline, here are the 53 players on the Saints' initial roster.
Quarterbacks (3)

- Travis Etienne Jr.
- Alvin Kamara
- Kendre Miller
- Audric Estimé
Devin Neal was placed on the team's injured reserve list with a knee injury. He'll miss the entire season but will remain with the team.
Wide receivers

- Kevin Austin Jr.
Jordyn Tyson was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return and will miss at least the first four games. Mason Tipson is listed separately on PUP and won't count against the 53-man limit until he is activated.
