We're only two weeks in, but so far Klint Kubiak's play calling for the Raiders has been as advertised. The former Seahawks OC was brought to Las Vegas to give them cutting edge offensive play calling just as he did in Seattle that helped Sam Darnold and the Seahawks offense to a Super Bowl title. And so far, so good.

Thus far he is fourth in the NFL in offensive play caller tendencies.

Specifically this chart is about personnel diversification and play sequencing.

Honestly, I am not entirely sure exactly what this means or how it's quantified. But it appears to suggest the guys at the top are less predictable.

Several times I've seen football nerds breakdown a play Klint has had over the first two games as Raiders head coach because of how he was able to make the perfect play call in the perfect situation to fool the opposing defense.

And while some might argue the defense deserves as much or more credit for the Raiders 2-0 record, a lot of credit it due for what the Raiders have done on offense considering their lackluster receiving corps and the absence of All Pro TE Brock Bowers.

They were able to run on the Dolphins despite stacked boxes and then beat the Chargers through the air despite the Chargers defense holding them to 2.0 yards per carry and several drops by the receivers. And they scored three touchdowns in each game to win both by double digits.
