Wout Faes leaves Leicester City for Shabab Al Ahli

Leicester City have confirmed the departure of defender Wout Faes who has joined UAE Pro League side Al Ahli.
The Belgian first joined the Foxes from Ligue 1 side Reims midway through the 2022/23 season for a reported £15 million. He then helped Leicester to promotion from the Championship the following season. Last year, Faes began the campaign with Leicester back in the second tier again before joining AS Monaco on loan for the second half of the season.

The 28-year-old had been linked with a move away from the club in the summer, something that has now been completed after the defender played his first game of the season in League One earlier this month.
In total, Faes featured 136 times for Leicester in all competitions, scoring six times.
