In the final leg of the ongoing triple-header, Audi has unveiled a special livery, designed by them for this weekend’s F1 Singapore GP at Marina Bay Sands circuit. It builds on the theme ‘The Art of Influence’, with driver race suits and fan wear also designed incorporating the livery.

As per the German F1 outfit, the Audi R26 design combines a ‘Singapore-specific interpretation of Titanium Silver Grey with a Traditional Peranakan Pattern’. The team has undertaken a fan activation programme, which could win them a VIP trip to Las Vegas GP.

The fans will need to unlock a digital card through the team’s digital hub, which will provide them with an entry into a draw to win VIP tickets. Audi has also teamed-up with its partner Adidas for special Singapore GP merchandise that fans can purchase.

Audi Explains the Colours Used

The switch from daylight to twilight in the grand prix provided a starting point for the special livery, using a distinct shade of Titanium Silver Grey, which will gain traction under floodlights. The Traditional Peranakan Pattern adds the cultural aspect of Singapore.

It forms the rear wing and sidepods. The special touch is also to showcase the new Audi RS 5 that will make its Asian premiere in Singapore, using similar colours as seen on the F1 cars on the streets. “Bringing Formula 1 to the people means giving fans more ways to feel part of the team, wherever they are,” said Stefano Battiston, Chief Brand and Commercial Officer.

“Singapore shows how we can do that through one connected idea. Audi’s special livery expresses our brand through a design shaped by the city, and fans around the world can discover it for themselves through the online reveal.

“With the adidas collection and experiences across Singapore, that story continues beyond the race car. ‘The Art of Influence’ invites people to engage with the team in ways that are meaningful to them, whether they are here in the city or following from home.”
