Cody Rhodes says if he’d welcome Travis Scott back to WWE after he injured him last year

Cody Rhodes might be a superstar in the world of WWE but Travis Scott is a name that is arguably even bigger around the world thanks to his music.

Scott made the crossover into WWE alongside The Rock back in 2025 as he got involved in the storylines with Rhodes and John Cena, among others.
Of course, the big memory from Scott’s run in the company was when he slapped Rhodes in the middle of the ring, resulting in a perforated eardrum and a genuine injury at the time.
That moment caused talk of potential beef between Scott and Rhodes and now, addressing the situation in an interview with Complex, Rhodes has spoken on if he’d welcome Scott back to WWE.

WWE is as much about celebrity culture nowadays as it is the actual wrestling. Right now, we are seeing Lil Yachty feature regularly on TV, while others have crossed over as well.
As for Scott, his appearances were always well received until he randomly disappeared and for Rhodes, there is very much a feeling of open arms if Scott wants to return to WWE.
“Well, the Travis Scott of it all, the pair that – Brandi did wear those – and I don’t think she gave a damn that he put the big old – I don’t even know what we’d call his hand – it was like a frying pan. He’s got a big hand,” Rhodes commented.
“No, there was never any heat. We love Travis Scott. I’d like to see Travis Scott back doing something with WWE. He’s wonderful, but they were, they were, I think, shunned a little bit. Yeah, put them on ice for a little bit. But they’re great.”
With the current Netflix era of WWE pushing more and celebrities in our faces, it would be no surprise to see Travis Scott on WWE TV once more at least.
As Rhodes says here, he is a big draw and in the main, did his job well. Quite how he’d be used, though, is open to debate.
