Allen and Cook Power the Bills Offense

Buffalo started the game with a pair of field goals before the Rams took their first lead on a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Davante Adams. Cook answered with a 17 yard touchdown run, giving the Bills a 13-7 advantage at halftime.

Los Angeles came out strong after the break, with Blake Corum scoring on a one-yard run to put the Rams ahead. Allen responded by connecting with Keon Coleman for a touchdown, keeping Buffalo within striking distance despite a missed extra point.

The fourth quarter turned into an offensive shootout. Stafford connected with Puka Nacua for a touchdown, and Allen answered with a one-yard rushing score and a successful two-point conversion to Dalton Kincaid.

After Adams caught his second touchdown of the night to tie the game at 27, Cook gave Buffalo a late seven point lead with a five yard touchdown run.

However, Stafford refused to go down quietly. The Rams quarterback guided Los Angeles down the field, setting up Kyren Williams for a one-yard touchdown with just seconds remaining to force overtime.

Greg Rousseau and Tyler Bass Deliver the Finish

Overtime brought even more drama. Buffalo threatened to score before Cook fumbled, allowing the Rams to recover. Los Angeles then moved into field goal range, but Greg Rousseau blocked Harrison Mevis’ attempt to keep the Bills alive.

Allen used two long scrambles to put Buffalo in position for the winning kick. Tyler Bass made a 45-yard field goal with 1:55 remaining in overtime, sealing the 37-34 victory.

Stafford finished with 383 passing yards and three touchdowns, while Nacua recorded a career-high 17 receptions for 138 yards and a score.

The Bills escaped with a statement win, proving their offense can deliver under pressure. For the Rams, a missed field goal and a late defensive stop proved costly in a game they had several chances to win.
