Trump announced plans to attend Alabama vs. Georgia at a Mobile rally Friday, Oct. 2. But with a looming tropical storm that could turn into a hurricane set to bring inclement weather to Tuscaloosa, Trump backed off his travel plans.

"Hurricane and football. I love Alabama," Trump told reporters. "I have to go to a game. Would be awfully hard. If there's an emergency, if there's a hurricane, I wouldn't do anything to take the focus of all the of the great people who work in those things. They have tremendously great people. I don't want to take the focus off. We'll have to see. I haven't heard about a hurricane. If a hurricane is going in the vicinity of Alabama, that's not good. Certainly I'm going to let the hurricane determine (if I'm going). I want people to be safe, that's all."

As of the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 7, Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to target the southeast, which is expected to bring downpours of rain from Louisiana to Florida. The National Weather Service is predicting a 90% chance of precipitation with highs reaching 79 degrees during the day Saturday, Oct. 10 with showers "likely" and "possibly a thunderstorm" Saturday night. Rain is also expected to continue into Sunday.

Alabama is expected to kick off at 6:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC.
